Anyone hear the rumor about the Scientology mafia putting a hit out on the publicist (Ronni Chasen) that mysteriously died a few years ago?  That someone allegedly shot her in the head while she was driving home as a way to send a message to Katie Holmes' agent (whom the publicist was close to) after they'd heard about her providing Katie with advice on how to successfully divorce Tom?

Katie Holmes Thought Suri Wouldn't Come Back

Throughout the past few months when I told you that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes had a private custody sharing agreement going on while Katie pondered Tom's $5M one year offer to stay married, Katie was also worried that Suri would not be returned to her as promised. There were several times where Katie had to be out of town while Tom had Suri and she always feared that Suri would not be there waiting when she got back. Her biggest fear was when she went to China last month. Katie knew she would be gone over a week and that Tom would figure out that Katie was there simply to get a huge paycheck which would help when she left Tom. It was right before going to China that she decided she would not take Tom's offer. She thought the bodyguards that came with her would somehow sense her decision and tell Tom and Suri would vanish into Scientology somewhere and Tom make some kind of announcement about SeaOrg. Apparently about six months ago Tom decided that Suri should start doing more intensive Scientology stuff to prepare her for life as a leader of COS. That is when Katie said no and that she was leaving him. Then Tom made the offer and that was where everything kind of stood until last week.

Her father is a lawyer, he's helping her with this.  Media is reporting that she won't walk away with much money at all and she's fine with that, she wants to WORK and only wants child support for Suri.

We'll see how this pans out, but a catholic and a scientologist would never work.  She was NOT going to give up her religion for him.

I believe I'm the only Tom Cruise fan on this earth so I'm going to stick up for him. I think if any of the rumors are true ie he's controlling, etc then she should have kept it moving. I know what her motivation was in sticking around and it looks like it blew up in her face.  And I think it is trifling to ask for sole custody of a child and then petition for child support, regardless of who it is. If you don't want your former spouse, bf, jump off to be around the kid and you want to do it all alone, then do it all alone. Don't be sticking your hands out asking for monetary help only.
Katie knew he was seriously into the Scientology thing and she dated him for a while before the baby came along. She made that decision so it's on her. He dated at least one other actress after he divorced Nichole (Penelope Cruz) and they were together for a while. She wasn't fool enough to try and marry him. Why did Katie? One word: money. Ok, maybe one other word:fame.
