Dayum, JP! You goin in awfully hard on ole gurl.  I aint taking her side or anything...cause I do believe she's a tad bit bananas. But I don't doubt her one bit, when she says D-Wade was still sexin her. And as any experienced man knows, when a man is sexing a woman, especially, a woman who loves him, his WORDS to her don't mean shit! It's his ACTIONS. My credibility comment was directed in rebut to her accusations of his abusing her while she was pregnant and fucking her during the separation. Again, those things MAY have happen but since there is no evidence of such and since she has a record of deception and nerotic behavior, her comments aren't worth spit.

But I agree with you Dwade should not have allow that book to be release so soon after his divorce and he may be setting himself up for more batshit craziness with his ex.

Why not write a book?  He has full custody of his children.  He didn't divorce his wife and leave the children with a woman who he thought was off her rocker.  Seems like he is being a dad to me.

OK, I tried to avoid going here, but here it is: How much of a good father can he be when 8 months of the year, he's on the road, playing basketball? Let's be real here. Throw in the other time he spends globtrotting, shooting commercials, making guest appearences at everybody and their momma's basketball camp, at gawd knows where, and you have even less time spent with his kids. Spare me the bullshit, please! Secondly: Who the hell is an early 30's multi millionaire to tell the average man working and living in the REAL WORLD, how to be father? Stop it! What is it about celebrities that makes them think a modicum of fame instantly qualifies them to dole out parental advice? This is the same bullshit we saw with Michael Jordan: Media and fans bought his image maker's bullshit of him being a great family man. Please! When all was said and done, he was revealed to be both a bad husband and bad father. Fact most likely is, given all the aforementioned travel / TIME SPENT AWAY FROM HOME, Wade's sons are actually being raised by nannies, drivers and whatever other domestic help he employs. And say what you wiil, but no decent man / father would've publicly smeared the mother of his children like he did. Nor would he have alllowed his represenatives to do such.  If for no other reason, out of respect for the fact the she's the mother of his children. Her actions alone were enough to warrant his gaining custody. I steadfastly hold to my belief that a celeb authoring a book on fatherhood, fresh off of a highly publicized, contemptuos divorce is a bad idea. And while I do believe his ex wife is "out there", I'm sure she didn't suddenly get that way. He knew how she was when he was making those children with her. He knew it before he married her.

I have admit; I do believe her and hope she can get the healing she needs and move on.  I'm definately not saying she or he are angels but; some of what she is saying reminds me of a friend of mine who is dealing with an abusive mate.  I also do not believe the picture perfect life he (or anyone) trys to portray. 

I agree.  There is probably alot of truths in what she's saying.  He's the star so she automatically is going to be seen in a dimmer light it appears.  Yes she's been a bit scary at times but she was losing her marriage.  They have long term history so I know all of that was not pretty.    As the saying goes 'even a broken clock is right twice a day."  I don't buy his goody, goody persona at all.  Not at all.

Another case where were it I, I'd not be interested in trying to besmirch the name of the man that I have kids with, especially after the checkered past and accusations the have abound in & prior to their recent divorce.  I am not saying that DWade ain't everything that ole gurl is alleging AND A THREE PIECE, but the timing of it all (especially w/ the history) makes it instantly suspect.  id say that same if he did the same thing towards her.

Totally True! I can’t help but wonder what young woman/man in love or in the midts of a breakup didn’t do some Cray Cray chit occasionally? Was it really, worth having her children taken away from her, did she abuse or neglect them in any manner? If he were not who he is – a rich celebrity - I could almost bet that the outcome would have been totally different if he were not so rich!

Foaming at the mouth? I merely stated my opinion, like you did. So being that we're discussing the same two people, isn't your mouth just as foamy over someone's business as you say mine is?  You say he's the better caretaker. What do you base that  assertion on? I mean, if the ex was as awful a parent as his camp would have us believe, why haven't the kids been harmed up until now? I never denied the ex was off. Hell, you find many a post on this site, wherein I went at her pretty hard. He won the custody because he has the biggest pockets. Nothing new there.
That said, I'm not arguing who the better parent is. My initial post to the thread was about the timing of his just dropping a how to book on fathering. [/b] [/size]

True story. Crazy White man followed his ex wife when she goes out on a date. When ex and BF are stopped at a red light, he slams full speed into the back of them, killing everybody.

Happened in Speedway some years ago.

Over the spring and summer I had to be downtown, and where I needed to go, also happened to be next to where the support business is handled.

Yep. Just like I felt he and his camp shouldn't have done to the mother of his children.

I know this Tri, IF my wife & I are breaking up & I even slightly suspect that she is doing ANYTHING suspect enough to make me think that she is not fit to have total custody of my son,......I'M DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET HIM.  BAR NONE.  AND I know that my wife would do anything on her side of it to KEEP or GET him.  I agree that it would be BEST if he had both of us all of the time, BUT if we part, no matter what our intent, that is not going to be the constant reality.

Now after all of it is over, ( & we are at a even keel meeting his needs) I don't think I'd write a book or do an interview about how fuked up my ex wife was,....BUT IN THE MIDST OF GETTING HIM, IT'S ON!!  Maybe Wade's wife is not giving up  (& it would be expected of a woman who got their children taken from them) b/c she is ready for ROUND 4, but at some point they are gonna haveto consider the kids.
